As a local chapter of the League of Women Voters, our mission is to promote active participation in democracy, foster informed and engaged citizenship, and advocate for the principles of good governance. We believe in the power of an informed electorate and the importance of democratic processes for shaping a better future for all.

Located in the beautiful Northwest region of Westchester County, New York, our chapter serves as a platform for individuals who are passionate about civic participation, social justice, and equal representation. We embrace the diverse voices and perspectives that make our community vibrant and work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table.

At all levels, LWV is a nonpartisan, grassroots political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and local communities. The League of Women Voters is unique in its strict non-partisanship. While we may lobby in support or in opposition of issues or legislation, we never support nor endorse candidates or political parties.

Your voice matters, and your participation is vital in shaping our community and nation. Let’s work together towards a more informed, engaged, and equitable society.
